Seeking long term apartment or room for July 1

Hi!

I’m an artist/musician/hairstylist currently residing in Alphabet City. I’ve rented directly from the owner of the apartment for three years and am leaving only because she’s selling the place. We have a great relationship and I know she’d be happy to provide a reference for me 🙂

I’m seeking a new long term place to live beginning on July 1st. My ideal is to live alone, but I’d consider living with quiet mindful roommates.

I’m very open to atypical living spaces so long as there’s access to kitchen and bathroom. I’m also open to location, I work mostly in Manhattan and Brooklyn but I’d strongly consider something upstate as well. I have a car, and would consider anything within 2.5 hours driving of the city.

A bit about me; I’m quiet but friendly, I like my living space to be tidy and conducive to creative practices, I value peace and quiet above all (despite living in NYC!), I work a lot, I cook a lot (vegan), I have a lot of plants but hardly any furniture, I watch a lot of movies and read a lot of books.

I’d love to hear from you if you might have a space that I could live in! Trying to keep my monthly cost of living as low as possible so I can make more art but could spend up to $1,500.
