One Bedroom plus additional room available in sweet Ridgewood apartment

My roommate is sadly leaving the city for work so I am ISO one new roommate to take over a lease for two rooms in my sweet Ridgewood apartment.
2 small rooms with windows and proper light – One bedroom and the other to use as whatever you see fit! (could be an office/studio but I think it would make a fab closet space). My room is the size of your rooms combined and the rent is split evenly.
Bedrooms are on opposite ends for comfortable privacy, large kitchen space, cozy living room and lovely bathroom with shower and bathtub.
The apartment is on the second floor of a two unit building. 4 blocks from M line/15 min walk to L train.
Communicative landlord
I moved in March 2025 and my current roommate has lived here for over a year. Their furniture/things (in the living room/some in the kitchen) will be replaced. Your rooms will be repainted as well.
I’m looking for:
– Females/non binaries preferred, must be at least in their late 20’s/early 30’s
– All around responsible person
– MUST pay rent and bills on time.
– Prefer someone who keeps a busy schedule as I do. If you have a life, I love that for us both! And if we naturally align in friendship I am open to that too. Don’t need to be best friends but want a warm/comfortable home environment that caters to wellness
I like to occasionally have friends over for tea/meals but not routinely. The space is not a party house but we can check in in advance for larger scale gatherings
I need someone who honors a home and naturally treats it like a peaceful, sacred space. I see home as a retreat from the busy city. If you don’t feel strongly and fundamentally about this, it will not work between us.
I’m a New Yorker who grew up in Queens, have spent the last few years in Brooklyn and moved into this apartment at the end of this past winter. I love to make the home beautiful, enjoy home improvement and I often bring fresh flowers into the space. This isn’t something I ask of you but want to live with someone who would appreciate it. And if it’s something you’re into as well then that’s a plus!
I’m a sculptor with day jobs as an archivist (4 days in person) and am often at my boyfriend’s house a few days throughout the week. I enjoy yoga, cooking when time allows, warm weather at the park, hanging with friends.
