Hello co-creators! We have an amazing cooperatively organized Industrial Sewing, Fiber Arts and Fine Art Loft that is 600 sq ft, with a rare vacancy we get to fill quickly!
The back 200 square foot space can be occupied by one or two people. We can make another partisan wall (pictured)
It’s the perfect place for clothing designers or artists to have a large personal studio and access the 400 sq ft industrial cut and sew, artists cooperative side 24/7. The Co-op ranges between 6-10 people. We are all pretty part-time in the space.
Ideally we’re looking for someone to stay for one year. With a year commitment rent goes down to $1100 monthly. If you want to contribute to cooperative experiences or responsibilities rent goes down to $1000 with a year commitment.
6 month is the minimum, for $1200/month. The only cooperative requirement is to attend one video meeting every months. Or watch the recording
The personal studio gets great light shining through the fabric partisan wall which separates the space from the Cooperative side. It has 2 sheetrock walls and one brick wall. Beautiful 12ft ornamental ceilings and a slop sink.
Can be split into two 100 sq ft artist studios for $600 each.
We are in the best loft in the building! Top floor, Right at level with the JM trains. Two new bathrooms directly outside the loft door. Freight Elevator. New AC/Heating. Utilities are extra, Internet is free.
