Parkside Studios #1 is located on the second floor of a small building, and is divided into three work spaces. The available private studio is located in the front of these spaces and overlooks Parkside Avenue!

There is a shared restroom with a sink and toilet. The other two studios are currently occupied by a fashion designer.

The building is located in Flatbush / Prospect Lefferts Gardens, directly across from the Parkside Avenue Q Station and Prospect Park (on Parkside Avenue). There is a short straight stairway that goes from the street to our space on the second floor.

The studio space available is ideal for all types of art production except for the use of toxic materials and heavy fabrication.

Parkside Studios is a community of sorts, as there are more studios in the adjoining buildings (Parkside Studios #2 and #3) that includes four painters, another fashion designer, two illustrators, a photographer and a a few writers. Everyone lives in the neighborhood.

The rent is $900 a month with a monthly $50 utilities fee. Internet is included.

Security deposit, first month’s rent and $50 utilities fee are necessary to move in, which would be $1,850 total.
