Community Printshop, Bookmaking Studio, and Artists Space in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Join Matrix, an artist run, community focused printshop in Bushwick offering screen, press, mono, and risograph printing as well as book binding equipment. Matrix is housed within Godspeed Arts, a Brooklyn-based artist collective, offering affordable studio memberships, photographic darkroom, wood shop, event space, and exhibition opportunities for artists. With resources for collaboration, skill-sharing, and creative growth, our space supports artists in showcasing their work, hosting workshops, and engaging with the local community.

– Two 4-color carousel presses
– Risograph (black ink)
– Hinge clamp printing stations
– Exposure unit + washout booth
– Coating station and drying cabinet
– 12″ × 48″ etching press
– Glass print tables
– Transparency printing
– Duplo DC-616 fully automated slitter, cutter, and creaser machine
– Akiles CombMac-EX comb binding machine
– Shared screens, squeegees, and print tools
– Base inks, emulsion, and reclaim chemicals
– Flat file storage

Monthly Memberships:
Fine Artist Membership ($250/month)
Designed for artists building an ongoing print practice and looking for flexible, long-term access to the shop.
– 24/7 access to Matrix Print and Godspeed communal spaces
– Unlimited monthly studio hours
– Flat file or cubby storage
– Base studio inks (Black, White, CMY)
– Emulsion and reclaim chemicals
– Priority scheduling for multi-day projects
– Includes membership to Godspeed Arts which includes: events, co working space, kitchenette, discounted hourly rates for wood shop and darkroom

Production Membership ($350/month)
Designed for apparel brands, designers, and artists producing work at a larger scale.
– 40 hours of studio access each month
– Additional hours at a discounted rate of $15/hour
– 24/7 studio access
– Expanded storage for materials and screens
– Priority scheduling for larger projects
– Base studio inks (Black, White, CMY)
– Emulsion and reclaim chemicals
– Support ordering custom screens and specialty materials
– Includes membership to Godspeed Arts which includes: events, co working space, kitchenette, discounted hourly rates for Wood shop and darkroom

Rental Options
– $25/hr standard use
– $35/hr high-production sessions
– $100 day rate
