We’re looking to fill a vacancy in our artist-led studio space for immediate sublet. A special opportunity! We are in an repurposed industrial building, shared with over 30 artists.

Large basement studio located directly off the freight elevator with easy access to the shared woodshop. You’ll be sharing with a sculptor who works with glass. Low-dust practices are preferred.

100 Rochester is a repurposed industrial building in Crown Heights with a 10+ year history of artists, designers, architects, and fabricators working side by side in railroad-style studios. More than 200 artists have passed through the space over the years. The communal layout means there’s always someone around to lend a hand, share a skill, or stop for a chat.
The building includes an independently communal run woodshop, a 21-seat screening room, and 24/7 access for tenants.
The space is artist-managed, with building decisions made collectively through town halls and open communication.
Please note: this is not a pristine white-wall studio building. Tenants are expected to contribute to maintaining the space.
