Short-term sublet (April 1-12) — Sun-drenched 1-bedroom apt in Prospect Heights

My sun-drenched 1-bedroom apartment in Prospect Heights is available for a short-term sublet from April 1-12 at a rate of $90/day ($1080 for the rental period).

Located just a few blocks from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the apartment is a great neighborhood with quick and easy access to Manhattan. There are six subway lines nearby and great restaurants, bars, groceries, and cafes within blocks.

It’s a 1-bedroom apartment with a separate living room/study and super-fast Verizon Fios internet. The rooms and bathroom are organized around a dining room and well-equipped kitchen.

There are lush plants in every room. I’m looking for someone willing to water the plants once during the sublet and will prioritize this in my search. The apartment is furnished with vintage and antique pieces I’ve collected on my travels, as well as handmade ceramics and art. No pets allowed, unfortunately.

The apartment is located on the 6th floor of an elevator building, a short walk from the C and 2/3/4/5 trains and next to the Park Place S shuttle stop. The building is next to an above-ground shuttle train that makes some noise as it passes by. The apartment is on the 6th floor and the subway is adjacent to 1st floor. Past subletters haven’t had an issue with the sound, but if you’re very noise-sensitive, this might not be a good fit.

As this is my home, I am looking for a trusted person who will enjoy the space and treat its contents with care, as well as water the plants once during the sublet.

The apartment is available April 1-12 and I can extend by a day on either side if desired. We will sign a sublease agreement.

$90/day includes utilities and a cleaning fee. There is a refundable security deposit of $500. 50% of the total balance is required to reserve the sublet and the remaining balance is due a week before start date.
