Shared Woodshop and Studio Space

This is a windowed 110 SF workspace with additional 60 SF overhead storage and use of 600 SF well-equipped woodworking shop. Good light, clean, secure loft building filled with studios near Flushing Ave/Metropolitan Ave on the border of Bushwick/Maspeth. 13’ ceilings (5’-8” headroom at overhead storage).Freight elevator, loading dock, clean bathrooms.

The personal space (10’ x 11’) is one of four in a larger 20’ x 28’ space, divided by 8’ tall partitions without doors. Studio vibe is open, low-key, uncrowded. Workshop area has tablesaw, bandsaw, chopsaw, jointer, planer, drill press, sanders, router table, more.. Additional limited space for wood and sheet storage available in shared shop space. Workshop is kept tidy, ready to use.

We are three long-term studio mates looking to replace a departing fourth. We have been jointly renting the space for 8 years.

We are seeking a kind and respectful studio mate, with prior experience using woodshop tools. Not the right space for a commercial woodworking business but perfect for craftsperson or artist looking for room to produce work in a well-maintained, considerate environment.

This is a long-term sublet until 9/30/25, with possibility for extension
