ONE EYED STUDIOS
1639 CENTRE ST, QUEENS, NY 11385
Built in 1930 and with a long history of housing creative industries such as fabric producers for major department stores like Macy’s, One Eyed Studios sits on the culturally diverse border of Bushwick and Ridgewood–charmingly coined Ridgewick–serving a diverse community of traditional and contemporary. Our occupants are old neighbors who range in creative fields from music production to graphic design and new neighbors creating artisan body products and world-class tattoo design.
ABOUT ROCKELLA SPACE
Rockella Space was conceived in 2017 out of a personal need for an affordable studio space and a grand dream of building out the perfect, light-filled studio complex. Today, the space occupies three factory buildings in Brooklyn, offering over 300 creative spaces to the community that all retain an industrial aesthetic, old-world charm, and architectural hints to the history of the previous creative lives they once hosted.
