Studio For Rent - W/ Shared Woodshop + Shared Screening Room
We are looking to fill 2 vacancies in our artist collective for immediate move-in. Both of these studios are SHARED with at least one other person, though they likely won’t be there all the time. Please note, there are no live/work spaces in our building, but you are welcome to build out your wildest dreams here! We are a close knit community of over 30 makers, spread throughout our building’s four floors. Our ranks include designers, artists and architects, and we are looking for somebody similar to join our space. We welcome creators in any media. This is a really special place to build and create, and we’re looking for someone extra special to join us.
As a whole, the building layout is sort of “Railroad Style”, so your neighbors may walk through your space as you work in your private space and in the shared woodshop and shared movie theater. Additionally, as these are SHARED studios, your studio mates may be working in the same room as you. That being said, in our 8 years of operation, this has always been a feature, not an issue.

This space is on the ground floor, adjacent to the woodshop. Two double doors and high ceilings make moving large work in this space a breeze. You will be sharing the space with a carpenter and two craftspeople. Your space will be the largest. Size and cost listed above are for your half of the space.
STUDIO TWO: Third Floor

One of the best spaces in our building. Hardwood floors, natural light, and private access make this a great place to make your work. A lofted storage space provides a place to put your things right out of the box. Unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline. You will share this studio with a painter who usually works mornings
